Jeff Diehl is the Managing Partner and Head of Investments at Adams Street Partners, an employee-owned global private markets investment manager with $65 billion in assets under management across private equity and private credit strategies. He oversees the firm’s investment activities and is responsible for the overall management of the firm.

Under Jeff’s leadership, Adams Street has expanded its global footprint and scaled its investment platform to deliver long-term value for institutional and wealth investors. The firm currently has more than 340 professionals across 15 offices worldwide.

Prior to taking over as Managing Partner in 2015, Jeff served as a Partner, executing minority equity investments in growth-stage private technology companies. Jeff joined Adams Street in 2001 after serving as a Principal at the Parthenon Group, a Boston-based strategy consulting and principal investing firm.

Jeff is Chairman of both Adams Street’s Portfolio Construction Committee and Executive Committee, and is a member of the Growth Equity Investment Committee and New Product Committee.
