Jeffrey Colin is the Founding Partner and former Head of the Investment Strategy Group at Baker Street Advisors. He has more than 30 years of experience in wealth management, investment strategy, and advisory services. He founded Baker Street Advisors in 2003 and led the firm’s investment strategy and research efforts for ultra-high-net-worth clients.
Prior to founding Baker Street Advisors, Mr. Colin was Managing Director in the Private Client Group at Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown, where he served as National Head of Wealth Planning and a member of the Executive Committee. He previously held senior leadership roles at Robertson Stephens and myCFO, Inc., and began his career at Goldman, Sachs & Co.
Mr. Colin currently serves as an Independent Board Member of Helios Energy. He previously served as an Independent Board Member of Generate, where he was a member of the Audit and Compensation Committees, and as a Strategic Advisor to the firm’s Funds Group. He also served as an Independent Trustee and Audit Committee Chair of Rimrock Funds Trust.
Mr. Colin has been active in civic and nonprofit organizations, including serving on the investment committees of the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco and KQED.
He has been recognized by Barron’s as one of the nation’s top advisors for 20 consecutive years.
