Colby supports the valuation of private market investments, including fund investments and equity and debt instruments. He works closely with the investment teams to assess portfolio company performance, develop and review valuation models, and support the firm’s valuation processes and reporting.
Prior to Adams Street, Colby was a Senior Manager in Private Equity Valuation at Vista Equity Partners, where he led the valuation process and supported the development of valuation models, policies, and procedures. Previously, he held roles at Centri Business Consulting, Stout, and BlackRock focused on private investment valuation and financial reporting. He began his career at Vanguard.
