Abel is primarily responsible for the formation, operation, and management of private equity and private credit US registered funds, including tender offer funds and business development companies. He also provides ongoing support on other general legal and compliance matters related to the firm.
Prior to joining Adams Street, Abel was an Associate at Dechert, where he advised registered investment companies and their investment advisers on regulatory, compliance, disclosure, and business matters. His experience also included supporting fund launches and advising clients on investment management regulatory matters.
