The UK Private Capital Excellence in Sustainability Awards celebrate organizations that have made an outstanding commitment to responsible investment principles and aims to recognize the vital work being undertaking to embed responsible investment principles and practices. The LP Award recognizes limited partners that have enhanced their responsible investment framework, demonstrated senior leadership commitment, integrated sustainability into due diligence and reporting, engaged with general partners to address sustainability risks or opportunities, and shown leadership through external sustainability initiatives.

Winners announced June 2026. Awards conducted by UK Private Capital Awards. Self-nominations are received online for all categories and assessed by a judging panel of multi-sector Sustainability experts. With respect to LP categories, judges assess how firms (i) have enhanced and developed their overall responsible investment framework during the year, include evidence of why sustainability is important to the firm and the commitment demonstrated by senior management; (ii) have worked with GPs to integrate sustainability within due diligence and reporting; (iii) demonstrate specific or thematic engagement with one or more managers to address any sustainability risks or opportunities, including the regularity and depth of post-acquisition / funding engagement with portfolio companies / GPs on sustainability matters and (iv) are evidencing their leadership or active engagement with external initiatives such as the PRI, TCFD, iCI, ILPA (Diversity in Action), EDCI etc..
