Adams Street Partners' Direct Team invests $5-20 million in companies seeking venture capital or growth equity to accelerate their businesses or to provide partial liquidity for existing shareholders. Over the last 20 years, Adams Street has invested in over 100 companies that meet this profile. Our Direct Team has over $1B under management across seven funds and we invest in roughly 10 new companies a year, typically leading and pricing transactions.

We are active long-term minority investors who seek to partner with companies that have breakout potential. We seek out experienced management teams who live and breathe their industry and have built a solid foundation for success. This foundation must include a unique product/service, a scalable and capital efficient business model and a large addressable market. If the proper ingredients exist, Adams Street can draw upon our knowledge and our network to help management teams accelerate the growth of their businesses, leading to increased shareholder value. We seek to partner with and provide sound advice to management teams who are already in the process of building great companies.
